Commercial and domestic cleaning companies are brushing up on their conservatory cleaning techniques after the recent boom in installations across the UK.
With many homeowners opting for a conservatory as the cheapest, value for money way of adding extra interior space to their existing homes, rather than risk moving in what is a testing time for the property market, so window cleaners are coming across more of them in their daily work.
In particular, safety issues e.g.: where a conservatory has been built under an upstairs window, making traditional ladder access difficult are being high-lighted. Of course, many ladder-less cleaning systems are now used and this is one way of overcoming the problem. For example, Fascia companies are now quoting for scaffolding where fascia replacement will take place over a conservatory.
Interior cleaners have also been briefed on what to expect. One particular decorating trend at the moment is to fit large mirrors on the house wall, which creates the impression of a much larger conservatory.
